With one of the industry’s most popular engine and driveline assembly lubes, Red Line has taken that popular chemistry to a new level with Liquid Assembly Lube, a new product that adds more convenience and flexibility to an industry standard product.

Red Line’s Liquid Assembly Lube prevents metal contact and wear before adequate lubrication can be supplied. Unlike other assembly lubes, this product will not plug filters after initial engine start-up and provides three-times greater film strength than conventional black Molybdenum Disulfide greases or using motor oil on assembly. Skunk2 is proud to introduce its three-inch, MegaPower RR Exhaust for Honda’s ’06-’10 Civic Si. The impressive, 76mm (three-inch) MegaPower RR system is available for both coupe and sedan models and is manufactured of high-quality, T-304 stainless steel. Each MegaPower RR Exhaust is CNC mandrel bent and robotically TIG welded to ensure proper fitment and a consistent finish. Mandrel bending allows the tubing to maintain a constant diameter throughout for uninterrupted flow. MegaPower RR Exhaust systems feature straight-through, low-restriction, oversized mufflers polished to a high luster and removable silencers for customizable noise control.

MegaPower RR Exhausts feature a louder tone when compared to smaller diameter MegaPower and MegPower R systems and allow engines to breathe more efficiently and produce more power thanks to their larger diameter piping. MegaPower RR Exhausts are designed for forced induction engines as well as those featuring high compression, aftermarket camshafts, racing headers, high-flow intake manifolds, and aftermarket ECUs. AEM 09-10 3.5L Dodge Charger & Challenger Gets Colder Air!

In the late 1960′s, the Chrysler Corporation debuted its iconic Dodge Challenger. The Challenger was appropriately named as it was released to challenge the Chevy Camaro and Ford Mustang in the then new muscle-car class. Fast-forward to the present day and the Dodge Challenger is in its third generation. The current Challenger model was designed in 2008 as a remake of the original with a twist of vintage styling and modern technology.

AEM has just released a cold air intake for 2009 and 2010 Dodge Challenger and Charger models with 3.5-liter SOHC V6 engines. AEM’s part 21-696P is a two-piece aluminum induction system that features a large, molded rubber elbow coupler and massive 7-inch tall DRYFLOW performance cone shaped air filter.

These 3.5-liter V6 engines are relatively underpowered in relation to engines in other muscle cars. With only 250 horsepower from the factory, AEM engineers looked to not only improve peak power gains with the 21-696P Cold Air Intake but to improve low-to-midrange power production as well. During AEM testing a Dodge Challenger realized a 7.36 horsepower improvement at 3800 RPM with the AEM cold air intake installed. Peak horsepower was also improved, going from 174.52 in stock trim to 177.43 horsepower. A substantial addition in torque was also recorded during AEM’s testing, with a maximum gain of 10.63 ft/lb at just 3500 RPM with the intake installed.

The 21-696P Cold Air Intake system comes with a large oil-free DRYFLOW performance air filter (21-2147DK). The 21-2147DK has a flange inside diameter of 3.5-inches (89mm) and a height of 7-inches (178mm), allowing the delivery of a plentiful amount of airflow to the 3.5-liter V6 engines of the Dodge Challenger and Charger. The DRYFLOW air filter media creates a filter that is extremely durable, easily cleaned and delivers excellent filtration. For added filtration, AEM offers Filter Wraps that are manufactured from durable micro-screen materials that are pretreated with a proprietary hydrophobic process. AEM filter wraps repel water splashes and extend the filters service life. For the 21-696P air intake system, AEM Filter Wraps are available as a separate accessory (Part Number: 1-4007).

Skunk2 New 06+ Civic Si Intake Manifold!

Skunk2’s Pro Series Intake Manifold for Honda’s K-series has arrived. Skunk2 engineers looked to the popular ’06+ Civic Si’s RBC intake manifold for inspiration and went back to the drawing board. Skunk2’s Pro Series Intake Manifold for Honda’s K-series features a larger plenum and shorter, oversized runners when compared to the RBC, and is cast with thicker wall material, leaving room for further porting for high-horsepower applications. Instead of producing a manifold with a significantly oversized plenum and excessively short runners that would sacrifice mid-range power, the Pro Series manifold was designed for the “street enthusiast” who wants more power but doesn’t want to sacrifice mid-range performance to get it. The results are improved airflow, an enhanced venturi effect, and both mid-range and top-end power gains.

Skunk2’s all-new, cast-aluminum Pro Series Intake Manifold for Honda’s K-series is a direct-fit replacement for ’06+ Civic Si thanks to its unique, patent-pending water neck design and throttle body flange, which is compatible with OEM throttle bodies as well as those as large as 76mm. The special water neck design eliminates the cutting that would otherwise be involved with some RBC applications and the supplied thermal-insulated intake manifold gasket makes for a truly bolt-on installation (no drilling or modifying required). Pro Series manifolds also incorporate an angled-runner design, which allows for ample hood clearance on ’88-’00 Civics and ’90-’01 Integras with K-series engine swaps, as well as additional core support clearance on ’02-’05 Civic Sis.

Pro Series Intake Manifolds offer horsepower and torque gains greater than the popular RBC manifold but without compromising mid-range power output. The design incorporates runners that are similar in length to the RBC’s but with larger bores, a special tapered design, as well as a larger, tapered plenum that together preserve mid-range power but increase and accelerate airflow to allow for significant top-end power gains. Pro Series Intake Manifold runner exits are also machined and hand-finished to best match the cylinder head’s ports. Skunk2’s Pro Series Intake Manifold’s shape and design also increases wave scavenging effects at the engine’s ideal operating range, which allow for a broad increase in usable power.
