- From the factory excess crankcase vapors and residual oil are vented back Into the intake manifold
- The Moroso Air-Oil Separator is plumbed into the PCV system and captures this oil mist to reduce detonation and deposits on the intake track including the valves themselves
- Billet Aluminum body compliments any engine compartment and can be polished, chromed or powder coated or a custom look
- Has a bottom drain with an elbow that makes draining the collected oil virtually mess-free
- Includes a stainless steel mounting bracket, 1/2″ inlet and outlet fittings and 54″ of 1/2″ rubber hose for plumbing the Air-Oil Separator inline

- A cost-effective alternative to the factory GM piece
- Does not have the two provisions for knock sensors (which are not usually used in racing applications), as open headers, solid lifter cam and stiff suspensions can falsely trigger sensors
- Also, engines using a carburetor and distributor do not typically need the provisions for the knock sensors, which creates a cleaner installation
- Aluminum plate construction weighs less than the factory cast piece and allows specific bungs to be added
- Can be used on factory and aftermarket GM LS Series style engine blocks
