New from Moroso, part # 22306 Chrome Spin-On Filter is made for Ford 22mm thread applications such as 4.6, 5.0 (Coyote) and 5.4 Mustangs. This filter is hand polished and rack nickled before chroming to insure the highest luster possible. Inside is a heat cured, resin impregnated, 20 micron rated filter element that has been engineered to exceed OEM specifications for filtration efficiency.
Also new for the Ford 5.0L Coyote V8 is our Racing Spin-On Oil Filter. Featuring increased burst strength for high performance racing or street use, this filter provides less pressure drop, more flow, less oil by-pass and maximum filtration performance rated at 20 Micron filtering.
Our newly redesigned Side Port & Front Port Remote Oil Filter Mounts now accept both Chevy style spin-on filters (13/16″ – 3-1/4″ o-ring) and others with 3/4″-16 thread and 2-5/8″ o-ring, such as early Ford and imports. This revised breakthrough design makes it easier for the reseller of the Moroso remote oil filter mounts to have the right product in stock for their customer needs. For the customer, it provides increased probability that the part will be in stock and lets the customer choose from a wider range of Spin-on Oil Filter applications. They offer more mounting options to the racer wherever installation limitations require a remote mounted filter. Manufactured from billet aluminum for strength, these mounts won’t crack and aren’t porous like cast aluminum pieces. They have black anodized finish to protect them against corrosion. Designed with two -12AN inlets and three outlets, one -12AN and two 1/4″ NPT, these mounts provide easy plumbing of oil pressure lines to turbos, superchargers, and valve spring oilers.
