Energy Suspension Press Release – 2010 Camaro Hyper-Flex & More!

The ACT Race twin-disc kit offers SRT-4 enthusiasts a true race-ready complete direct bolt in clutch kit that requires absolutely no modifications. The ACT Race twin disc kit utilizes sintered iron discs for maximum holding capacity (770 lbs/ft of torque) and quick shifting while also offering twice the surface area for high heat capacity and long life. Each kit has an overall weight of 15 lbs as compared to the 31 lb stock kit (a 52% decrease in weight) and results in a very low moment of inertia. With ACT’s ability to design and manufacture our own diaphragm springs, we were able to keep the pedal load to a minimal 15% increase over the stock pedal load.

Agency Power Press Release – Nissan GT-R Downpipes

Since its release, the Nissan R35 GT-R has been in need of high flow downpipes. The Agency Power Stainless Steel Catless Downpipes fit either the stock or any aftermarket exhaust system. Constructed of durable, high quality 304 stainless in a full 3″ diameter. The improved flow from the larger diameter catless pipes produce more power, keep boost pressure up and provide improved throttle response for you R35 GT-R. Each Agency Power Downpipe has oxygen sensor bungs, thick flanges and sturdy hangers.

With the option of a Jet Hot black ceramic coating, the AP downpipes will also help reduce exhaust temps.

The Agency Power Down Pipes have seen gains of +40hp and +20tq on a conservative AWD Mustang Dyno when attached with supporting mods.

Cosworth Press Release – EC Pro for Mitsubishi Evolution X

30C-550020The debut of the latest Cosworth EC Pro application for the 2008+ Mitsubishi Evolution X just took place at the 2009 SEMA Show. The EC Pro is a true professional motorsports ECU by Cosworth Electronics who developed the Pectel Control Systems seen in series such as the FIA, WRC, British Touring Cars, Japanese Super GT300 & GT500, Formula Nippon, FIA GT, Champ Car, IRL, World Superbikes, and the LeMans 24hr.

  • On the 2008+ Mitsubishi Evo X, the addition of a Pi Research lap beacon enables the advanced user to build track maps in the Pi Toolbox software (supplied with EC Pro) for advanced analysis of driver and vehicle performance.

Over time harmful oil will build up inside the turbocharger, intake manifold, intercooler and piping. A Mishimoto Carbon Fiber Oil Catch Can will prevent this from happening while its sleek carbon fiber exterior will add a touch of style to your engine bay.

An oil catch can serves other important purposes as well. It will prevent oil from getting into pressured turbo plumbing, which can lead to couplers coming off under boost. Oil vapors can get into the intake system which will lower combustion temperatures and reduce overall efficiency. BMW M3 GTS – The Dream is Over

BMW M3 GTSThe BMW M3 GTS is a throwback to the days of the M3 CSL and other vehicles that could only be used for one thing: track warfare.  Dressed in Sherbert Orange and sporting 19″ Matte Black Wheels, the BMW M3 GTS is a purpose built track car. Front and rear spoilers provide more then adequate downforce, huge six-piston calipers and cross drilled rotors make sure this this stops on a dime sans fade, and a fully adjustable suspension allows this machine to be dialed in for whatever the track demands.

Need more proof that this is a track-only terror?  Open the door and check out the gutted interior sporting nothing more then a beautiful roll cage, bucket seats and a fire extinguisher (ok, there’s a little more then the, but not much).  All the weight reductions bring this car down to under 3300lbs and power will be supplied by a 4.4L V8 and pushing out around 450HP.
