COBB Tuning Mazdaspeed3 FMIC Version 2.0

COBB Tuning is happy to announce the re-release of the COBB Tuning Front Mount Intercooler for the MAZDASPEED3. The v2.0 FMIC for MAZDASPEED3 has been revised to give more clearance for the stock core support, oil-cooler lines and stock shift weight allowing for easier installation and less modification of your car!

The COBB Tuning FMIC features 2.5-inch powder-coated charge tubes feeding a large “bar and plate” 24-inch x 3.5-inch x 7.9-inch aluminum core with blue 5-ply silicone couplers with T-bolt clamps plus everything you need for a simple and painless installation.

While the revised boost tubes will clear the stock shifter weight, all COBB Tuning intercooler kits now come with the COBB Tuning lightened shifter weight for improved fitment and more precise shifting feel.

The COBB Tuning FMIC v2.0 for MS3 also integrates seamlessly with the SF Intake System and Turbo Inlet Tube for the complete COBB Tuning Intake Package! AccessPORT calibrations for the COBB Tuning SF Intake and FMIC package can be downloaded from the MAZDASPEED3 Map Database.

As a true bolt-on upgrade for the Mitsubishi Evolution IV-IX, the GTII 7460R is a reverse rotation ball-bearing turbocharger assembly that utilizes the factory exhaust manifold. By creating a twin scroll, reverse rotation turbocharger, the GTII 7460R offers a straighter exhaust path to the turbine housing inlet increasing boost response while allowing full spool and stable boost pressure throughout the RPM range. The Heart of the Super Steer
The Super Steer bodies are the key what makes them work. The secret is how they change the steering racks leverage on your front hubs. Made from CNC’d 6061 aluminum, these pieces are overbuilt to ensure a lifetime of use.

Tie Rod Ends & Ball Joints
The Super Steer System includes new steering rack tie rod ends. Instead of us using heavy OEM type ends, we chose lighter and stronger sphearical rod ends, and billet aluminum rod end adapters.

For lowered STI’s our rod ends double as a ball joint extender allowing you to retain correct steering geometry, even at extreme ride heights.

Steering Rack Stops
The PERRIN Super Steer increases steering articulation and therefore needs new stops to limit wheel travel.

Each kit includes two collars which create new stops for the steering rack, eliminating the possibility of tire contact with the body.

Each stop is securely locked in place with 4 bolts eliminating any possibility of failure.

TurboXS 08+ STi Gets Louder Boxer Rumble!

The 2008+ STI GT Series STI Exhaust was designed with three things in mind; Style, Sound and Performance. The styling of the dual 3.5 inch tips on each side were to accentuate the rear valance on the STI. Giving it an aggressive look at the rear of the car but keeping a grown up attitude. Matching the look we designed a muffler that wouldn’t take away from the Boxer sound we all love. We were to attenuate any droaning on the highway and keep the general exhaust note down to a reasonable level. This was done by using strategically placed panels in the muffler that reflect sounds waves in a way that cancels out bad tones but to keep the exhaust gas flowing freely as possible. We matched this muffler to 3 inch mandrel bent stainless steel piping through out to help promote exhaust gas energy. The end result is an exhaust that will not be the restriction in any of your horsepower goals.
