Skunk2 New Black Series Intake Manifold!

Skunk2’s exclusive Black Series Intake Manifolds are here. Skunk2 took the most popular Honda intake manifold in the industry—its Pro Series Intake Manifold for Honda’s B-series engines—and coated it in its signature Black Series finish.

More than a decade ago, Skunk2 engineers looked to the popular Integra Type R intake manifold for inspiration and went back to the drawing board. Skunk2’s Pro Series Intake Manifold for Honda’s B-series features a larger plenum and oversized runners when compared to the ITR manifold for maximum horsepower and torque gains. Instead of producing a manifold with a significantly oversized plenum and excessively short runners that would sacrifice mid-range power, the Pro Series manifold was designed for the “street enthusiast” who wants more power but doesn’t want to sacrifice mid-range performance to get it. The results are improved airflow, an enhanced venturi effect, and both mid-range and top-end power gains.

Skunk2’s cast-aluminum Pro Series Intake Manifolds for Honda’s B-series engines are a direct-fit replacement for all B-series engines thanks to three separate flange designs and are compatible with all factory sensors and throttle bodies as large as 75mm (Black Series available only for B18C GS-R at this time). Pro Series Intake Manifolds offer horsepower and torque gains greater than competitors’ manifolds but without compromising mid-range power output. The design incorporates specially tapered runners as well as a larger, tapered plenum that together preserve mid-range power but increase and accelerate airflow to allow for significant top-end power gains. Pro Series Intake Manifold runner exits are also machined to best match the cylinder head’s ports. Skunk2’s Pro Series Intake Manifold’s shape and design also increases wave scavenging effects at the engine’s ideal operating range, which allow for a broad increase in usable power.

Koyo Old School Datsuns Get New Hotness In Cooling!

Universal Gauge Boot – 52mm

AEM’s Universal Gauge Boot acts like a wet suit or shower cap for any 52mm gauge. It is made of silicone and is designed to stretch onto the back virtually any 52mm gauge and keeps dust and water out of the back of the gauge… dust and weather proof when installed correctly – however, IT IS NOT WATER PROOF!

Why you want one
If you have a race car, off road truck, motorcycle, Ruckus, snowmobile, ATV or other vehicle that is in a muddy/dusty/snowy/weather exposed environment, you need to protect the back of your gauges. Even under the dash of a race car, the back of the gauge is exposed to dirt and dust, which can deteriorate the electronics in your gauge. High Volume Fuel Rail

AEM High Volume fuel rails feature a 1/2-inch fuel bore to support fuel flow for applications up to 1,000 horsepower. This large bore also dampens backpressure pulses created by larger injectors and works perfectly with stock injector sizes. An additional 1/8th NPT port is included to accommodate a nitrous set up or fuel pressure gauge. A custom fuel line fitting is included for the factory fuel line, and the ends of each rail are pre tapped to accept -6 AN or 9/16”x18 fittings for users who want to use custom fuel lines.

K&N 2008+ Chevy Cobalt SS Gets A Boost!

The very impressive Chevrolet Cobalt SS is a front-wheel-drive compact car that is comfortable, economical and fun to drive. Chevy released their first 2.0 L Ecotec LNF turbocharged Cobalt SS in 2008 to replace the supercharged engine offered from 2005 to 2007. Tight handling, powerful brakes, excellent acceleration and a great sound system set the Chevy Cobalt SS 2.0L Turbo in a class of its own.

Although the 260 horsepower turbo engine puts out an adequate amount of power, K&N wanted to increase that power with the introduction of their 69-4518TTK performance air intake kit. The 69-4518TTK is designed for 2008 and 2009 Chevy Cobalt SS 2.0L Turbo models and completely replaces the factory airbox and intake housing. K&N air intake system 69-4518TTK uses a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube to lower airflow restriction attached to a high-flow K&N cotton air filter (RC-4470).

K&N air intake 69-4518TTK offers the Chevy Cobalt SS more horsepower and excellent filtration. K&N Dyno testing revealed a 12.2 horsepower boost at 4600 rpm with the use of this simple performance modification.

Temperatures under the hood of a Chevy Cobalt can be very high because of the engine. K&N’s 69-4518TTK is equipped with a powder coated heat shield to help reduce the amount of hot engine air that enters the air filter.

Installation of the 69-4518TTK performance air intake system is very simple with K&N’s installation instruction sheets. A typical install only takes 90 minutes and can be done with hand tools found in most households.
