Heat soak is very bad for intakes, and we kept that in mind when we sat down and penciled this one out. This makes all the difference when it comes to making more or less horsepower. HKS Even Diesel Apps Can Enjoy The New SQV3D Now!

The newly designed SSQV3D uses a “boost drive controller” for positive boost operation.

This new system can be used on vehicles which have no vacuum signal, such as diesel engines as well as conventional turbo vehicles by wiring into the accelerator pedal position or throttle sensor signal at the ecu.

An on/off switch allows the SQV to be switched on or off at any time. A trigger switch can also allow the activation of the SQV on demand.

The Nissan GT-R has been the dream car of many American enthusiasts since it was introduced in the Gran Turismo series of video games. Much like the virtual machine, the new Nissan GT-R seems to defy the laws of physics. This is one of the fastest, best handling street-legal cars available.
Take a look at the performance numbers and you’d swear they belong to a European exotic with a triple-digit price tag. Sixty mph is reached in less than 3.5 seconds, top speed just shy of 200 mph, cornering in excess of 1g and braking from 60 to a standstill in less than 110 feet. As with all Aeromotive regulators, the 13129 EFI Bypass Regulator incorporates CNC-Machined 6061 T6 billet aluminum construction and a convoluted diaphragm utilizing proprietary elastomer materials for precision pressure control. Cosworth Subaru TGV Delete Kit

The Cosworth Tumble Generating Valve (TGV) Delete Kit is designed to maximize airflow to your engine by eliminating the obstructions inherent to the OEM TGV intake ports. The TGV delete’s are made of a fiber reinforced polymer to insulate the cylinder head from the intake tract, providing your engine with a cooler, denser charge of air. To further increase performance, the Cosworth TGV delete’s are port matched to our CNC cylinder heads and intake manifold. This product is a direct fit for the 07+ Subaru STI due to the top feed injector design and due to a revision to the upper bolt pattern of the TGV, specifically moving the center two M6 holes. With our manifold and top feed injectors, the TGV delete kit will work without issue on most WRX/STI applications.

K&N Press Release – Mini Cooper Gets Moar Powah!

The MINI Cooper is a smaller compact car designed by vehicle manufacturer BMW. The current BMW MINI Cooper was designed larger and faster than the previous models. The MINI Cooper and Cooper Clubman (Estate) bring style, comfort and performance directly to the forefront.

K&N designed a performance boosting air intake system (69-2005TTK) for the 2007 to 2009 MINI Cooper 1.6L and 2008 and 2009 MINI Cooper Clubman models with the 1.6L engine. The 69-2005TTK only fits U.S. models at this time. K&N air intake systems are guaranteed to increase horsepower and acceleration. Dyno testing revealed a 4.1 horsepower gain at 5300 rpm with this simple performance modification.

The 69-2005TTK completely replaces the factory intake housing and air filter with a custom intake tube that straightens and smoothes airflow to your engine and a K&N cone air filter (RC-5144). Mishimoto New Racing Thermostat For 370Zs!

Mishimoto has just released a new racing thermostat application engineered for the 2009+ Nissan 370Z. The Mishimoto Nissan 370Z Racing Thermostat will promote greater cooling efficiency throughout your engine. The Mishimoto Nissan 370Z Racing Thermostat is designed to significantly lower high engine temperature produced by modified and upgraded turbo applications.

Once the engine is fully warmed up, the Mishimoto Racing Thermostat will activate at 66º C while OEM thermostats do not activate until reaching 82º C. Opening at a lower temperature allows the coolant to flow through the engine sooner, both reducing temperatures and maintaining optimal engine performance.

HKS New Hybrid Sports Oil Filters

An oil filter which improves oil pressure drop and flow properties by approximately 30% compared to current aftermarket sports oil filters.

Most aftermarket sports oil filters to use high viscosity oil and therefore filter paper strength is prioritized whilst sacrificing absolute pressure loss properties. HKS Hybrid Sports Oil Filter has readdressed filter strength and overall structure to provide the oil flow that the engine requires and pursue HKS’ ideals in what is required from a sports oil filter.

Construction
In the interest of universal fitment, unit size has been standardized at φ68×65mm. Fitment bolt sizes are M20-1.5P and 3/4-16 UNF. Filtration performance JIS standard is 25μ whereas HKS is 20μ making the Filter compatible with most standard engine requirements.

Filter Life
Under normal usage, it is recommended that the filter is changed every 6,000 miles or 6 months. For Sports driving, the recommended distance is approximately 1/3 -1/2 of the previously mentioned figure (as the engine revolutions are several times that of normal driving). However, to maintain optimum low pressure loss properties, it is recommended to change the filter every 3000 miles when an oil change is performed.

Performance
