ACT New Heavy Duty Clutch Kits For 2011 6 Cyl Ford Mustangs!

 

Advanced Clutch Technology (ACT) has released a new Heavy Duty performance clutch kit and components for the Ford Mustang V6.

ACT’s new clutch kit for the Ford Mustang V6 features a Heavy Duty Pressure Plate that incorporates hardened diaphragm fingers for decreased wear and provides a 43 percent increase in clamp force over the stock unit.

The ACT Street Clutch Kit combines the Heavy Duty Pressure Plate and a Performance Organic Street Disc. The disc features special-performance organic friction materials able to withstand increased heat and abuse, steel-backed linings for high-burst strength and modifications engineered for quicker shifting. The ACT Street Clutch Kit provides a moderate and consistent pedal feel, smooth engagement, significantly improved durability and increases the torque capacity to 565 ft. lbs.

K&N 09-10 4.6L V8 Ford F-150s Get Simple Performance Option!

The Ford F150 has been a fierce competitor in the race for the most dependable, most durable, and most powerful truck in its class. “A new intake kit design was required because of changes to the 2009 model year intake manifold, air box assembly and relocation of the throttle body,” says Project Designer Bert Heck. “K&N used four vehicles and 100 plus dyno pulls during kit development. After testing multiple tube diameters a 3.5″ tube was selected as it provided good performance and drivability.” The 77-2580KP feeds air from the air filter to the engine using a polished tube that looks great under the hood.

Dyno tests yielded estimated increases of 15 horsepower and 17 lb ft of torque @ 4650 RPM making the new 77-2580KP intake system an important performance upgrade that can be installed quick and easy.
